Your Data, Plainly Explained

Energetic Growers Academy ("EGA," "we," "us") runs this site to deliver electroculture courses and free educational content. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who else touches it. We keep the list of third parties short on purpose — each one exists to make the site work, not to profile you.

Information We Collect

• Account information. When you sign in, authentication is handled by Clerk. We receive your name, email address, and a unique user ID — we don't store your password ourselves.
• Payment information. Course purchases are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe returns a confirmation we use to record which course you've unlocked.
• Course access & progress. We keep a record of which courses and modules your account has unlocked and completed, so the site can show you the right content.
• Contact form submissions. If you message us, we receive the name, email, and message you provide.
• Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (pages visited, general location, device type). Advertising and ad personalization signals are disabled — we don't use analytics to build ad profiles.

How We Use It

We use this information to run the platform: authenticate you, grant access to purchased courses, process payments, respond to support requests, and understand which content is working so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal information.

Who We Share It With

Three processors touch your data as part of running the site: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payment processing), and Cloudflare (hosting, database, and analytics infrastructure). Each operates under its own privacy policy and only receives what it needs to perform its function. We don't share your information with data brokers or advertisers.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (set by Clerk) and analytics cookies (set by Google Analytics) to measure site usage. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though sign-in won't work without the authentication cookie.

Data Retention

We keep account and course-access records for as long as your account is active. If you want your account and associated data deleted, contact us and we'll process the request.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by reaching out through the contact page. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Children's Privacy

EGA is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
